I own a bookstore in a small Washington State town and taught college English for 14 years.
I also build apps, do art and draw comics, make card games, and write a blog of essays, observations, windows into fiction, Life on Words. That's where you've landed.
All this is more connected than it seems.
The bookstore is Sinclair Inlet Book Co. People come and go and say things they might not realize I've heard. Sometimes that's how this letter starts.
They talk about the people and things in their lives. The apps are about these things. Wishlists, small tools for not letting things disappear.
The card games and comics try to make something enjoyable out of the chaos these things bring.
I've often said everyone has a right to my opinion.
This is where I exercise that. This is where I show up.
